In his presentation, Dr. Wang began with the practical demands of advanced oxidation technologies in industrial wastewater treatment. He analyzed in depth the pain points of traditional anthraquinone-based hydrogen peroxide production, including high energy consumption, heavy pollution, and transportation risks. He then systematically introduced Epai Technology’s breakthroughs in electrosynthesized hydrogen peroxide:

  • Non-metal atom co-doping modification technology
Using plasma bombardment, non-metal atoms are introduced for modification, improving selectivity by 5% and reducing energy consumption by 13%.

  • Modular solid electrolyte technology
The world’s first industrialization of solid electrolyte technology, laying the foundation for future CO₂ reduction and nitrogen reduction applications.

  • High-performance gas diffusion electrode fabrication technology
Innovative microstructure design enables gas diffusion electrodes with a contact angle maintained at 140°–160°, and a lifespan of up to 10,000 hours.

  • Triple-phase interface enhancement technology
Through interface regulation and gradient wettability engineering, a stable three-phase interface is constructed, solving electrode flooding issues under high current density conditions.

  • Electrochemical microenvironment regulation technology
Utilizing cation shielding effects and decoupling of acidic-alkaline environments to regulate the local reaction microenvironment, significantly improving selectivity and efficiency.

Based on these breakthroughs, Epai has developed three major technology systems: ALK, SE, and MF, to meet differentiated needs across various application fields.

Among them, the mass-producible SE-CC-150g neutral hydrogen peroxide generator is designed for decentralized small-scale water treatment applications. It features a space-time yield of >1.0 kg/㎡/h and energy consumption <12.0 kWh/kg H₂O₂. The produced solution meets food-grade standards, and the system supports remote monitoring and predictive maintenance functions.
