This module uses a compact integrated electrochemical design to drive oxygen at the catalytic anode to undergo a two-electron reduction reaction (2e⁻ ORR), continuously consuming oxygen inside the refrigerator. It actively creates a low-oxygen environment that suppresses oxidation and microbial growth. The reaction produces a safe and broad-spectrum active inhibitory agent—hydrogen peroxide—achieving coordinated preservation by “active oxygen removal” and “in-situ microbial inhibition.”
