Transition metal ions are slowly released through the anodic electrochemical reaction, while the cathode utilizes two-electron oxygen reduction (2e-ORR) technology as its core principle to generate active ions that combine with H₂O to form a bactericidal solution. These active ions enter the sewage tank, where they inhibit bacterial growth and help reduce odors to a certain extent.
